Hello World — First Entry in the Workshop Log

engineeringpersonalworkshop

Why a Blog?

Every great workshop has a logbook. A place to record measurements, sketch ideas, and document failures just as carefully as successes. This blog is mine.

What I'm Building

I'm a mechanical engineering student at New Uzbekistan University, and I spend most of my time somewhere between CAD software and a soldering iron. Right now, I'm working on:

  • A 10 kg combat robot for the Kelajak Muhandislari competition
  • A CanSat miniaturized satellite system built on ESP32
  • Running the NewUU Applied Engineering Club

"Study hard what interests you the most in the most undisciplined, irreverent and original manner possible." — Richard Feynman

Engineering as Craft

There's something deeply satisfying about taking a raw material and shaping it into something functional. Engineering isn't just about equations and tolerances. It's about understanding why things work, and having the courage to try when they might not.

Tools of the Trade

Here are some tools I use daily:

  • Fusion 360 — for mechanical design and simulation
  • KiCad — for PCB layout
  • Python — for data analysis and automation
  • Next.js — yes, even this website is an engineering project

What's Next

I'll be writing about projects, failures, lessons learned, and the occasional deep dive into a specific engineering problem. If you're interested in sustainable tech, robotics, or just watching someone figure things out in real time — welcome to the workshop.
